Our mission is to create one million career pathways that catalyze economic mobility for Black talent, and others, without four-year degrees.

Our History

Founded in 2020 by some of the world’s most respected business leaders in response to the racial justice movement, we’re now a coalition of more than 60 employers working to advance economic mobility for diverse talent without four-year degrees.

It’s estimated that as many as 50 to 60% of all jobs in the United States require a four-year degree.

For jobs that pay a family-sustaining wage, the relationship between available jobs and those that can attain them is even more stark.  

Did you know? 79% of jobs paying $60K and above require a 4-year degree. 71% of jobs paying $40K and above require a 4-year degree.
